March 20 - 22, 2020 (Friday Evening through Sunday Evening)
First Solemn Communion is an important step in every child's development. But not all parishes have a program, nor can all families manage their own parish's First Solemn Communion Program's schedule. So our Eparchy is putting on this 3 day, intensive camp where children in grade 2 (+/- a year) learn their faith along with an adult. Then they return back to their church and receive the sacraments from their own parish. If you don't have a church, we will be happy to help you find a suitable one near you. Click here for more info and to register.
Thursday, March 26 - Sunday, March 29 (during Spring Break for most local school divisions)
Come and join us for this awesome annual Lenten Retreat. Millie will be providing more details soon. Click here for more information and to register.
April 17-19, 2020 (Friday Evening till Sunday)
Every couple needs to attend a Marriage Prep course before getting married in the Catholic Church. This helps everyone to understand what the purpose of marriage is, what responsibilities are involved, how to best communicate, what the service is about, and how to keep God in the centre of your life. This is a course for anyone who is about to be married. You should first talk to your parish priest, then register. Click here to register and for more information.
Sunday, May 3 (open from 8am till 8pm)
"The Catholic Festival of the Mother of God" is a huge event that features a Divine Liturgy (Mass) with at least one bishop (likely several), a concert on the main stage, a Divine Soccer Game, the Right Rite Jeopardy Game where we will see which Church knows the most (yes, bragging rites are at stake), delicious food, great displays and many other things in GOD's PLAYGROUND. Admission is by donation. Click here for more information.
