What is Camp Oselia Summer Camp?

Camp Oselia is a Catholic camp which is committed to helping young people confidently grow in a fun and safe environment.  Besides physical, emotional and intellectual growth we are committed to strengthening the spirituality of young people and their families.  We do this by daily incorporating prayer and catechesis into the program in fun and interactive ways.

Camp Oselia is a youth and family ministry of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Edmonton. We welcome all young people regardless of race, creed and orientation.

Who is this for?

This camp program is designed for children and youth going into grades three to nine, of any and every background.

If you have a child who is willing to expand their world by adventuring with us for a week, we would love to have them join us.

Keeping Safe from Covid:

At Camp Oselia we take safety very seriously.  We strictly keep all the rules of Alberta Health Services (AHS), and go over and above them to keep our children and our staff as healthy as possible.

We will restrict the number of participants so that we can properly follow health directives. Thankfully we have lovely large fields, plenty of trees and ample spaces to play in.  We will do everything possible to keep this camp as safe and healthy as possible.

No Child Left Behind

Dream-Maker Grants

The Edmonton Catholic School Foundation provides “Dream Maker Grants” for students in the Edmonton Catholic School District who would like to come to camp but maybe hindered by financial needs. To apply for this please contact your school’s principal explaining your child’s interest in Camp Oselia, and the monetary amount in which you will need the Dream Maker Grant to cover. Your principal will then forward the information to Marc Barylo, the Executive Director of the Edmonton Catholic School Foundation, who will evaluate the grant application.

No Child Left Behind

If your child does not attend a school in the Edmonton Catholic School District, please contact the Eparchy of Edmonton at (780) 424-5496 and ask about the “No Child Left Behind” program. We will be happy to work with you, to the best of our ability, to ensure your child is able to attend camp and gain all of the experiences it has to offer.
